Maybe a German helmet?

Hello all, I really hope everyone on here is doing well! This will be my first thread in the German section. I am doing some research on this helmet for a friend and I am at a complete loss. The inner looks smaller to the M16 naval helmet. I think it is a German helmet but I am not 100% sheer. Any help is much appreciated!

Looks Swiss to me.

Sorry not a German Helmet but a Swiss helmet. M18 from memory. The liner is similar to the german WW1 lids and they sometimes have a small white disc attached to the liner with the soldiers name written on it.

That was such a fast response guys! Thank you so much!!! All this time I was looking at German and Russian. You know what Jason I did see a small white disk attached to the helmet. It looked like a small poker chip. Again thank you for y'all's replays!

Do y'all think that the chin strap and liner are original, with post war paint and maybe post war or fake decal?

I cant see a decal sorry mate.... and the liner and chin strap look good compared to original examples.
