Oh, heh, yeah. I edited the reply and added the pics probably right after you first read it, so there's nothing wrong with your browser mate! 68 is almost the most desirable size next to the hard to find size 70, and I don't remember seeing a Q 70 before... I don't remember much of anything though so don't take my word for it. As for the black luftschutz is in an older thread I posted a little over a year ago. It has a rarely seen liner and chinstrap as well as cork spacers and its named but can't quite make it out. You can look at my profile and find some of my old threads . I'd link it to you but this touch screen iPad baffles my fragile eggshell mind and I can't figure how to do it. That the thread is good though, it's worth checking out,IMO. The other one is a so-called " corpse-cut" helmet with a lot of blood damage inside.
Thanks for your interest, bro.
Dean.
I've only seen this stamp in one helmet, which I discovered on Kelly's site. I have a folder from the office, so it was of real interest to me. Hope he doesn't mind the posting of these photographs. Both pictures property of SS Steal.
Apologizes if your were only addressing marker/lot markings.
Inside marking,
My folder,
Nice Helmets and that luftschutz helmet looks pretty big
