ive stuck it on the shelf with my vickers helmet till i get a new camera when new pics will be posted.
No need for more pics. Those are fake decals. Return it for a refund and use the money to buy a decent camera.
Sorry bad decals.
Decals aside I like the helmet!, a helmet I would have.

Sorry to say this is a fake, I know this as I used to own it for a short time until I put it on this forum and shown the decals to be common fakes. I took it back to the dealer I bought it off in west Sussex and he gave me my money back.
If you look through my threads you can match the pictures I would do a link but unsure how to, may be a moderator could help with this.
I found your post busman,as you say same helmet,technically the helmet doesnt owe me any money as i swopped it for a jeep part that didnt owe me any money,i got it as i said previously as my first non painted up helmet as well as my first ww1,ive no doubt i can pull the decals off without damaging the paint below,perhaps someone can advise on this,it was a bit dissapointing the liner was considered repro but hopefully everyone might agree a nice helmet other than the problems mentioned.
