This is a very interesting thread on many levels. I have the unmarked helmet you see in my photo and just missed getting an unmarked Spanish M35 at auction. I'm very interested in seeing an update on the helmet shell that started this thread. NH

RonR is Ron R, he has a dedicated (pinned) thread on GHW2 a different forum focused on German helmets which I co-own showcasing his many helmets. He is also the class of the collecting world.

I currently own about 150-160 German helmets, just under half are SS, Ron owns 1500-1600 German helmets of all kinds. It truly is incredible.

EGAD! 1600 lids?? Even using some basic assumptions the sum value of such a collection must be somewhere between '$hit loads' and 'holy f&#k'!

I have dealt with Ron and he is an absolute gentleman. I'm very lucky to own one of his lids.
