don't know about the decal but the helmet is the M35 model.

It looks like it was a single decal Heer M35 reissue.

I agree, SD heer reissue, It may have had a name on the rear near the lot number as well, but has been removed

I doubt that the liner is original to the helmet. It looks like a dug up helmet because of the crack. A typical frost damage. We find them all the time on the eastern front. It also has some semi relic look to it. IMO ice made the crack. Liner pins look loose. I might be wrong. If so how did it get there then?

I like your helmet. Could the crack be from a concusion blast?
The background scenery in the photos seem to clash with the helmet. Is this your bedroom?

I agree with Lars re the liner. It and the strap look Norwegian,
and the loose pins do not match the shell.........

No. It's frost damage as i wrote. Helmet is buried under ground. Ground get wet, winter comes, water freezes and expand, helmet crack. I can't count how many times i have seem this kind of damage.
This is the main reason i think the liner is post war applied. Also the loose pins. If the damage came from a blast, i think the liner would have been damaged as well.
