ahh you beat me to it. I was going to say well we know he brought a great helmet home, your a lucky man , that lid is sweet!!!!

Guys thanks for looking .Grandpa did have a good eye for helmets. I still like it when the family is honest and just says they dont know instead of come up with a story about how he got it at Normandy or at the battle of the bulge. Some times I think thats the only two places that GI's got helmets. Gary
