Named M40 SD Kreigsmarine ET66 #222

Hi everyone,

Here is the very latest helmet to come across to Australia. Picked this one up from Dave at WW2GermanHelmets, always good to do a deal with him.

Anyways been hunting for a nice salty KM for awhile now, never had a KM before so when this one came up I had to put the money down. Its an M40 SD KM, ET66 with a low batch number of 222. Nice green finish with a little rust, and a good 80% decal. Liner band is dated 1941 and its named to 'Caspar A' by the looks of it. Leather is still in good condition though, marked 59.

Great example of a rare KM helmet. Yours looks just like mine. Mine is also an ET66! The only difference is the lot number.

Dave is a nice guy, too. I met him at the MAX show. From what I hear he is a top notch dealer.

Nice KM has that been there done that look about it I can also confirm that Dave Shirlin is a good guy to Deal with I purchased my first Luftwaffe M40 through him.
