The liner looked sketchy, and there was alot of pitting but no paint damage, do you think tis a repro, or a restored one?

That's because they are mostly all crap and worthless.

    I'll second that.
Not all, but most, as I'm sure you know, you have to really know what your doing on ebay when it comes to collectables.
    This one is crap!

Indeed. And as Brad posted, unless you know your stuff, the bay is a minefield full of restored/faked helmets and an original camo would go for far more than the prices you quote Willi. Bargains can be found, but when you think that the bay is searched by 1000's of people all around the world, you do the math.

    Jerry

    Whatever its just an opinion.

Hi Will , I would leave this one well alone ,as already noted , the shell is heavily pitted and the liner is not consistent with the wear to the steel. I would say it's a semi relic re-sprayed shell with replacement liner, value to a collector zilch, the history is gone! Leon.

It's clear that's a bad thing with the iside very new. Look at the rivets, they are in too good condition.
I'm happy : he don't want to send the helmet to France!
