Hi, the images are not great for evaluating from but personally I do not like the way that the decals have similar wear on them, but the helmet itself has no wear patterns that match? Also why would a Police helmet be stamped on the liner with a Luftwaffe mark. Maybe a parts helmet or a complete re-working with fake paint/ decals and stamps. Leon.
Thanks Leon, I didn't notice that the stamp was Luftwaffe, guy wants $235 shipped for it and the decals I was concern about like you said the wear pattern doesn't match rests of helmet so I pass on this one

Sorry, I quite rightly stand corrected, the L&S on either side of the Adler are a big give away! I personally still do not like the decal wear though, but maybe I am just getting paranoid with old(er) age. Leon.by cricketchris1944
Leon we all getting old brother, I have to deal with the big 50 in a few months, but she has a new home now and a spot on top shelf with the rest of my luftschutz collection

Isn't it odd that the swastika decal is a lot more damaged than the helmet around it?
