Re: New Collector trying to identify my purchase
I spent $180. Is it worth that??

Re: New Collector trying to identify my purchase
At this point it's only worth about its weight in steel I'm afraid. I would get a refund.

Sam, welcome to the Forum !
Check out the German helmet section. A great variety of original
WWII helmets can be seen and studied........

Re: New Collector trying to identify my purchase
Sam unfortunately you got burned, the paint, decals are postwar and the helmet is not even German. If this helmet were real (and thats a big if) it would fetch in excess of $15,000 even in this dilapidated condition. Black SS M35 helmets are the most sought after German helmets there are.
