Hey guys. I am new here. Picked up my first helmet. I believe (from what I researched on this site and a few other informative sites on the net) that this is an M1935 Police helmet. Stamped on the inside is ET64 and 4783 in the back. Chin strap is marked Schiele Loburg 1937. Did I make out ok or did I get taken?

    Thanks in advance,
    -Matt

You did alright but where are the liner pins? Also is there a domestamp? Looks like a 39 shell. Is the liner frame removed?

The liner pins are missing. Domestrap? Liner frame? You are talking to a person who is very new to the world of helmets.

It does seem odd the pins are missing, and yet liner and strap are
    still with the helmet........

The 'domestamp' is oval and ink stamped on the 'crown' or top
inside the lid. The liner is made up of two metal hoops or
frames - Is one of these missing ?

    Steve.

Yeah, does the liner just lay in there ? it doesnt look secured to the shell.

Thanks for the questions guys. The liner (2 metal straps) is present. It is stamped 64IIA and under that is 56. On the other side there are some stamped words, cannot make them out. There does not appear to be a "domestrap". The liner fits tightly in the helmet shell and does not come out. It takes some force to get it out. Here is a picture of the inside of the helmet with the liner out of it.
