Thanks guys. I was amazed this one had no bids when I found it on ebay, was 3 days before the end and I knew the gentleman that was selling it through items he had bought from my store, so an email or 2 later and I had it secured for the ebay starting price. When it was pulled it still has 1 day to go and 0 bids! Amazes me that a good lid gets left when a clear fake goes through the roof.

I found the MG42 parts with a Dp28 mag at the last show here in WA, I couldn't leave them on the table so I bought them home. He thew in the cocking handle and the feed tray plus the ammo can. There were 2 ammo cans and this was the better one. I could see the paint under the rust so when I got it home a quick clean and I got the surface you can see in the pics, got heaps of original paint left. Got afew more bits to come in before I can build the late war display but I am getting there
