    There Was nothing wrong till the liner/band was pulled. Still a very nice late war helmet.

    Michiel, this is a learning lesson, never pull a liner due to your curiosity. As you can see by forum members reactions that it was not a wise thing to do.

    In todays world we get caught up in sd, dd, ss and so on but it is very pleasing to see a virtually untouched late war helmet.

    i understand never to pull the liner out
    but when i think to buy a repro with even the price cheap for a repro
    i would never think it would possibly be a real one i understand the valeue
    the helmet is still exactly as i bought it no harm or any

    I have to agree with that statement, it is so nice to see a good un decaled helmet. So many of them have been ruined by placing moody decals on them

    Hi guys what would you say it is worth as its the same as mine bar mine has the original outter helmet band but new liner and spring band, new to this , not selling but interested for insurance sake
