Normandy in the 70'S

Article about: Hello! in this time, i found many helmets. The first coming from the west of Caen was to the 12°SS. Inside the name Another camo, coming from Argentan This one was in the Falaise pocket Anot

    Old thread but great helmets nonetheless! Looks like the first two may have had some overpaint removed?

    The first one is from the 12°SS (fromCaen), there is a marking in the leather. The second lost one insignia...But I like it very much, coming from Argentan.
    I have anoter from the HJ. I never show it because of the special marking

    Argentan is a good area to find good stuff.
    I found some nice items there.

    For the last, i was every day in the same farm asking militaria. One day, the farmer told me : come tomarrow at 1 pm. I was at 1 pm at the entry and there was the helmet on the pillar of the door.
    I took it and never come back to this farm. But many peoples came after, I suppose.

    wow.that years were very good for collecting.you could find everything.
    The only problem was that there was no internet to buy them
