I'm with you, John.

The seller is moving these about one per week, it seems - All from Normandy !
A few months back there was another one quite similar which
sold for over $1200.

I purchased an empty shell from this guy 6 months ago, but it did not
have as much colouring as this one. I recognised the light 'mould'
and texturing, as well as the same shade of green paint
on the surface of this helmet...........

The shell is good,but camo and liner fake.

Is this one of the ubiqitious Norwegian shells with the 9 fingered red dyed liners, or is my eyesight failing me

Yep the special 9 finger version liner. Shell seems to be the best thing with the helmet.
