Normally i like this version but it seems the only colour you see it in is the dyed red, just for once id like to see an original large sized helmet with this liner in

You could be right - looks as though much of the dye
has been scrubbed or sanded off.

The Norwegian helmets are the ones mostly use to fake the normandy camo helmet.

9 fingers leather are often found in 68 shells so that's not typical for a Norwegian liner since they used German leather anyway.
Norgy dyed liners are really red and have a large size marking in a circle , it could be this one has been undeyed to make it appear German again.

But anyway not a good camo ...
