Hi mate, I have a feeling that I have seen these helmets in this configuration in the past, I just cannot remember where and exactly what for. If my memory serves ( and it is very poor!!) me correctly, I think that it is a good scarce original piece. Leon.

It is a good one, rare as hens' teeth. Even in this condition I wouldn't have any hesitation in buying it, especially at $100. Jim G.

The first I've ever seen like it, but it looks fine to me. I'd have to agree with Jim-a rare lid with a capitol R!

I took a chance on it Jim, I debated over a hour before I pulled the trigger on it, to bad the decals were denazified as they say but still displays nicely and didnt know it was that rare ether

Well done, I'm glad Jim confirmed it with his greater experience, I thought I had seen/heard of these before, and certainly not a lid you are likely to come across anytime soon! Leon.
