nothing fancy, just wanted to post this m-42, one of my favorites, came from a vet who picked this up when he was stationed in germany in the 60's, took a slug just behind the decal, just your basic combat vet.

Thanks, mint helmets are nice but I prefer helmets that may have actualy seen battle.

I agree, it's not just the helmet, it's the story behind each one, the battles it may have seen, the story on how the vet came to aquire it, etc.
