does anybody know what liner manufacturer this liner is?

Maybe. Metall,-Lederverarbeitung W.Z. Berlin-Charlottenburg ?

The ink stamp on the outer side of the leather is for the WZ company but you also need to look at the manufacturer mark on the steel band to see if it agrees. The band should be marked WZ or else RBNr 0/0251/0111 and also a date of 1944.....or at least 1943.
