It appears to be a good snakeleg with period removed tricolor. The helmet is an SE it appears, the lot number has the distinctive "1" and this lot number falls smack in the middle of the first pattern snake and straight leg decal types.

Here is a photo of mine, with Luftwaffe snake leg, SE lotnr 3119, not far off this one. Check the inside of the liner, it could be named to a flight school or squadron as was very common in early Luftwaffe helmets.

No flight school or squadron the liner is just too damage,just did not see any marking just the maker marking and date 1937.

Im sorry you dont like the camo paint, thats your opinion, but hey I like it, and for 150.00 USD from a VET who is 97 years old and who had this forever, I think it is a good find..Its the same color the germans painted their vehicles with, and we all know the artillary loved to camo their helmets, which this is..And a radio operatatior as well!!!

Thank you for the warm invite everyone, I am working on posting some more of my things I have, Daggers (partial ground Rhom), 1st edition Luftwaffe Dagger, SS double decal M38, banners, SS arm bands, belt buckles,ECT..ECT.. Just no time to do it..
