Opinionn M42 RAD helmet

I was offered this helmet this morning ,It looks good to me,but I am no RAD expert.
Any help would be great.

Well its a nice looking lid plus a reissued one judging by the Heer decal underneath and it looks period done, it would be nice to see the interior just to make sure everythings ok though

Looks good to me comparing to some good ones on GHW, reissue over Heer which is the standard. I like it. How's the price?

A bit of a shame about the liner but overall i reckon its all good Chris, it all depends on the price

I can't seem to make up my mind on this one. I want to believe its all good, but the liner bands are pretty bent up. I don't know if it was reused wartime or put in post war to raise the appeal factor of the lid. This is one I would love to see in hand. Might be worth the risk for the right price.

The liner does look force into the shell.

Bent liner bands are usually a bad sign IMO.

The important part of this helmet is the decal, which looks to me to be 100 per cent right. The liner looks like it was replaced, but at the right price I would buy this one. Jim G.
