BOTH cammo and covers are minefields!!! ........ they scare the pants off me and after 70 years of the passage of time, I just can't tell from a photo!

I am also not confident enough to comment on the camo but from these pictures the liner looks to be an aged reproduction which would raise questions about the authenticity of the rest of the helmet for me, cheers, Chris.
looks like rattle cans have been used then the paint sanded down in my opinion
Could also be some pitting under some of the exterior camo paint??
I like certain parts of it, but better photos are a must on this one
looks fake to me, especially that liner, I would leave this one Tony

Hard to be 100% sure, but the paint looks a bit dodgy, and the rear rivet does not carry any of the tan camo paint.
Meaning to me that it wasn't there when the lid was painted.
I don't like that liner, looks like an aged repro to me.
