Right off the bat I'd say fake liner and dubious camo.

Not for me
Gives me the creeps. Some Camo helmets are difficult. I don't find this one to be difficult.
Hi, i am not happy with this helmet, the liner does not seem to have any of the small leather washers showing to the underside of the fingers where the tie cord passes through, this would be a major concern for me as to whether this liner is original. As for the cammo,it looks to be applied with a very small gauge spray nozzle,of a type that would not have been in use in the field during the war as it would have taken you all day to spray a truck. Not one for me, sorry, Leon.
I agree with Brad. Obviously, this is a shell that's been spray painted and someone stuck a liner into. It's an assembled and aged phony.

Hi
Thank you for your very helpful comments gentlemen. I think the verdict is unanimous and as a "non lid" collector the information is invaluable.
I am pleased to say it is not one I have bought.
As ever thank you helping out a poor old cloth hat collector who obviously doesn't know diddly squat about helmets.
Happy hats !
cheers
tony
