Opinions on M34 Police Helmet

Hello all,

I am looking to purchase a few items from a friend of mine and wanted to get your opinions on this helmet. The liner has been beaten up, with only a couple panels remaining. The helmet appears to have been repainted, which you can see especially around the decal. Seller claims it is a late war reissue, hence the poor paint job, but that seems strange to me. I am lost when it comes to decals. I flipped through my helmet book and tried to figure out the decals but the eagle feet have been scraped off the helmet. The wing tips look ok from what I read, but I just want to be sure.

The decals are good. They were masked off when the helmet was repainted. When and by whom the helmet was repainted is anyone's guess.

Hi, I like the decals as well, although I am not a fan of the re-paint even if it is period as it is a bit of an ugly job (imho). Leon.

good decals but personally I'd go for an example with less question marks. They are not hard to find.
