    Hi guys
    yesterday the weather was very good and I went to the local fleemarket
    I found this cool Gladiator M38 Shell with a punching done Lot number
    The seller said me it was from the Luftschutz used in WW2
    Is it normal or Special
    The decal was removed after the war
    inside the neck it was stamped with RL2 39/42
    I need your expertsknowledge
    Im thankful for all good posts and information

    It is a standard three piece gladiator shell , the stamped number and letters point to the factory that made the helmet.
    You can find these helmets cheap and complete with liner , chinstrap and a good decal , I would not recommend buying them in this condition whatever the price.

    LOL, 5 euros doesn't buy much any more. Just think, you got a helmet for less than a Starbuck's Carmel Brulee Latte. Can't fault that.

    For 5 euros you did fine! As said, simply a rough Luftschutz helmet. Leon.
