Original paint DD Luftwaffe M35 w/Double Decals

No m40 german helmet as far as i know has the double decals applied ,and that imediatley would raise my suspicion that they where fake decal!

Heer & Luft M35's and m40's had double decals applied through March 1940 when the reg's changed and the tricolor was eliminated. Jim G.

M40's are only very rarely found with a tricolor. I'd say you have less than a 1% chance to find one with a tricolor. I think I only saw 5 or so.

Correct! I have several hundred german helmets, combat and civic, and not one DD M40 Luft or Heer, but a friend of mine with an extensive collection has several from each service branch. They are rare as the proverbial hen's tooth. Jim G.
