Original Winter Camo german helmet?

Would you guys think this is a post war camo german helmet?
Thanks in advance, I am not very well educated on camo helmets.

Needs a "hands on" IMO. Cannot tell from these pics. Might not be able to say "yes or no" even with it in hand.

Sorry I could not help.
These white painted or whitewash helmets, unless it is so poorly done post war & has everyone screaming "fake" are very challenging to authenticate. The best you can hope for are a few positive OPINIONS only. There are no textbook examples of these to compare it to. Each one was different. If one likes the look of it, fine. Then buy it.
But unless there is some form of provenance, you will get mixed opinions.

If there were decals visible under the paint it would be a different story. After +20 years I still have not found one for my collection and the ones I like I can count on one hand ��

Hi, well my opinion for what it is worth is that I am not seeing anything that screams post war fake. There are multitudes of hairline scratches all over the helmets white wash, but that may just be some over zealous cleaning in the past. The interior all looks to be untouched and of a very good matching standard, the exterior also quite lightly used. Personally if the price were right I would give this one a very good chance. Leon.
