no problem I thought maybe it was something like that or it's so late here my eyes were going really bad on me, thanks for showing your helmets . sorry the ss helmet didn't turn out better for you. the luftwaffe helmet is nice though. take care. Marty

Hi guys even though ss lid seems fake, isnt that decal a champagne runes, will try upload a image of a original NS lid

Hi Clay images of an original M42 with champagne decals are not needed. The decal on this helmet does not appear to be correct in detail, feel free to post better clear head on well lit photos of your decal as well as the camo paint, maker and lot number of the shell. From what I see the paint, personalization and decal do not conform to what you would expect to see.
