Article about: I picked this up off Ebay several weeks after it became Eban. The decals on this helmet are seldom seen. The property stamp in the helmet indicates that it is the property of Gau Sachsen. Ba

    Guys,

    Putting this topic back on top.

    I have found a nsdap helmet last week, and all info i,ve got is from this topic. First i thought it was a trashed luftschuts, but then i found this topic! This helmet is from Holland Anybody more info about this?

    Please elaborate on your concerns with this helmet. It is not the custom at this forum to state concerns without saying what the reasons are. As I owned one of these and a M-34 and handled both many times, I see no problem with this helmet.

    I was speaking in terms of this type of helmet configuration in general. There are certain qualities that are strange. They appear to be reworked by hand, not at the factory level. And they are low quality civil helmets that are often claimed to be late war. Why are they all from Saxony? How do we know these were designated for political leaders? The decals look original, but I would like to see some ADM shots of the eagle decal.
