Possible SA helmet /restoration in works

Article about: I got this helmet about a month ago. The inside of the helmet had not been repaint and had the brown SA color to it. So I took a chance on it to see if I could restor it. No decals no luck.

    Good job Chris, spotting the SA brown paint, in the first place! As said, the liner, cork spacers and plastic strap are great. The gear inside and lack of decals suggest its a late war lid.

    Definitely a late war SA without decals. I have seen a few of these without insignia over the years. Standard Luftschutz gladiator form helmets are found without insignia about 20% of the time.
