My ET68 finally arrived. Decal and liner could be much better but overall I'm happy with it. It will go nicely in my LW group.
Adding the ET68 let me update the mantel with all LW.
Rescued from the Great War Store in Allentown for 95 US dollars. NH

Danmark - the M42 was purchased in 1999 - so yes - a few years back! It had a very poorly painted national symbol added to the right side that I removed. The damage inside to it may or may not be period - the liner is in very frail conditions as you can see. The paint aged very badly - a far cry in quality from earlier examples. Still a good example with intact Luftwaffe eagle. NH

I just looked at the first one in this topic and I'm sorry to say it has a fake decal. Seems like we all missed that.
Picked this helmet up yesterday. Already posted these first 4 pics in another thread, but took some more today. The sun was not quite at an ideal angle, but still got some good shots. The more I look at this helmet the more I am impressed with the condition of the paint. There are very few spots where the metal shows and almost no brown / rust.
