I hope it's OK to post my Luftwaffe Fire Brigade helmet in here. I just got it yesterday. I didn't realize until I got it that the original black paint has a light coating (period done) of feld grau over it. This is noticible in the close-up pictures of the decals. It's my first Luftwaffe helmet. If it shouldn't be in this thread, please remove it.

Yes, Def a good place to post this beauty! If it has that flying chicken decal, it belongs here! Looks like you need a good liner string

gday, heres my only luft lid, A salty m35 Q reissue flak helmet. Its about time i got a few more i think......maybe a Q m40.

Another Lufty in my collection. A relic Q64. Lot # is unreadable due to rust and pitting. Very nice "ghost" of a decal remaining.

Here is my Lufty lid, as im sure many of you have seen the recent thread on it! But i do have a question, what is a "flak reissue". I know what flak and reissue means but im a little lost? I am considered on the "dark side" right now because i usually collect US!
