Q66 combat helmet, is it right?

Does this helmet look alright to you guys? It looks all correct to me without holding it in my hands. Should a guy pay $300 for a lid like this?

Well if its 100% original M40 SD then thats a fair price for a complete Helmet,others can tell you more.

Looks all original M40 to me but with poor storage hence the rust. Strap is there but just and broken. Spit pins look untouched. Liner looks clean compared to the outside but I would guess it might be stiff.

Others my disagree but it's all there despite the issues. I would think this is fair.

I think it's very fair, I see on sites people wanting 200 and sometimes more for restored helmets and this helmets all original.

Agreed - 300 is not too much for a good helmet. I don't like the rust but perhaps something can be done (not radical) to ameliorate it a bit. NH

If you like it than 300 isn't bad. The liner alone is worth 2.
