Quite possibly the mintiest helmet I have ever seen

Article about: Wow. So the lug is there to hold ceremonial oak leaves? If this helmet was just for special events, then maybe that explains why it is in such stellar condition.

    Wild!! any idea whatv the signifigance to the Oak leaves are? were they worn on the helmet when receiving an Iron Cross or some such Award?

    Decals look like they have a film on them, but best condition I have ever seen
