Real or fake helmet

I was offered this helmet recently.

Do you think it is a genuine german helmet?

Looks like a good M42 - some straight on photos of larger size would help confirm if finish is still original.

Shell looks like an original M42, with paint missing. Liner stitching is very white, maybe restitched. More and better photos are needed of the entire helmet, all the way around, and the maker and lot #.

The helmet looks good,but better pictures of the shell is needed.

Stands a more than fair chance, but better photos are really needed.
I would wait for them personally, but if it is cheap enough may be worth a punt.
