Real or Replica German Helmet?

Gentlemen, nice small size M18 shell that has been reworked and as members have already stated re-used in the Third Reich era, these small sizes are rare and therefore in my eyes more desirable, Mapuche Warrior, the vent lugs served two purposes 1) as an air vent, 2) for the attachment of a 'Stirnpanzer' or armoured shield, to remove them would make a bigger vent, and troops during WW1 had already complained about wind noise (they often filled them with mud/paper), however I have seen Finnish examples (post war) with them removed.

Transitional helmets are really something when they're real, but we need better photos to determine anything.
