Reshoot of A Favorite Helmet

Article about: It's a pretty nice day out today, though a little too sunny, but I decided to reshoot a favorite helmet. This is a Luftwaffe M35 ET66, 1st pattern eagle. I have had this one for several year

That's not a selfie, is it? lol
It's a bit chilly here, too. I don't mind the cold, just hate the wind.

Very nicely worn double decal Luftwaffe helmet Todd
It has all you could want in a combat lid, a well worn overpaint with decals peeking through, personalisation, and it is complete.
I would hold on to it forever!

And this one is a perfect example. Not mint in any way but totally untouched and it's quite evident that it had a long life. I would sell my mintiest helmet before I sold this one.

That's a cool one Todd, I can see why you like it. I know you have a soft spot for reissues in general too I like how both decals are visible but there's no post war tampering to show them, nice and understated.
