Yes, the spilt pins are the two pins on the right and left sides of the shell and single at the rear. To see if they are bent have a look on the inside of the shell between the liner and inside of the liner band but be careful not to bend the liner band. If they have been played with they will appear to have a bouble bend. See below an example of an un-bent liner pin. Please post some photos when you can. Andy
Nice! If Schwerpunkt had its brother. I have it’s sister. M40 LUFT HKP64 LOT 909 (a couple lots after yours) Wear on the back of your helmet identical to yours. Looks very similar all around ... paint color and texture (would link here / post pics but don’t know the “rules” for that. I’ll read up). Congrats on helmet.

The liner does have two seams that are tightly stitched. here are pictures of the seams and the pins as requested.

The rivets are fine , I would say it is a period repair the extra liner seam. Thanks for the additional photos.
