Sd m40 heer - got it in the mail today

Hello,
I posted this helmet before purchasing it.
At the time the photos were not great.
I got it in the mail today and wanted to post much better photos.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
Also, the helmet chinstrap is broken (I knew this prior to the purchase).
I happen to have another one.
Do I replace it (and obviously keep the old broken one) -
Or leave as is?
I included a photo of the chinstrap.

Very nice helmet! If it were me, i'd change the chinstrap out and of course keep the old one.

Good worn helmet. if it were mine I would keep it as it is. The chinstrap is part of its history and who knows how it came to be broken/cut. However its your helmet so the choice is yours.

I agree with Robin, keep it as it is ..... corpse cut to souvenir it maybe? ... but whatever, that's it's story!
