SE64 M40 LW with field repaint

Hi Guys,

My latest addition, a nicely worn SE64 SD Luftwaffe with field repaint, lot number 7868.
It's a tad salty, with some nice honest combat wear, that oozes character IMO, plus an obvious stacking ring in the paint.
In the decal close up, you can see where it has been neatly painted around (almost perfectly).
Inside the skirt there are traces of overpaint on the liner, and chinstrap D rings.
I'll let the pics do the rest of the talking, bear in mind, these were taken in an excited type of rush, and
aren't too well done as I was just in a hurry to share with you guys.
All comments, and opinions welcome, and if any more pics are wanted, just let me know (I took about 1000!!, LOL)

Sure do know what you mean. When my new lids arrive, the world could be ending and I wouldn't care. I'd be going out with a smile on my face and a new lid in my hands.

Nice lid matey! I tend to have a new lid with me or on my lap quite a lot in the first few days after it arrives too
