    Hi Slados , well for me it is a very nice re-issue helmet that was period re-decaled due to the loss/wear to the first one. It also looks to have retained it's nice early "square bale" liner. In the UK a helmet like this would set you back a minimum of £600 from a dealer. Leon.

    Thanks again for all your input --- besides helping me decide on items to possibly aquire for my collection this type of thread is always a good learning tool as well. I have put in an offer and I'm currently waiting to hear back.

    A kind of curious sidenote here is that I always seem to end up with either ET or SE helmets --- no idea why
