Straight on and focused shots of the decal is needed, otherwise, as Mark notes you are taking a major chance.

I am not a fan of this decal. It looks like the bottom of the runes are above the break. I could be wrong but this one is not one with which I would be comfortable.
Hi, as it stands this looks like a round bottom fake decal to me but much better images are needed. With SS helmets, it is not only the decal itself that needs to be studied, we need to know the maker of the helmet as some types of decals will not be found on some makers shells. Even good original decals can be found post war applied onto the wrong makers shell and after 70 years look fine with good wear patterns unless you know what you are looking for. Leon.
