on the market. If you bought it, I hope it
was real cheap.........

We all are at different stages in our experience so even if we know that 99% are going to be fakes, I'm glad the OP posted for review. We were all in the same boat at one point.

In order not to fall back on the old days were this was a regular occassion to post such helmets here. To the detriment of the overall quality of the topics.
The topic poster has some responsability in posting topics and that is to provide good photos and do a little bit of research.
Yes Frank. You are correct. And we should always do our own research as that is the best way to learn.
My point was that for some people in the very early stages, this hobby can be a bit overwhelming and need a bit more guidance (I know that I was there at one time) so I typically have a soft spot and a bit more leeway for beginners.
If however, one doesn't learn and continues to post obvious junk, there is no excuse.

That's how I felt, and still feel some about caps, but I must say they are a little trickier than helmets. Until you get into Normandie Camo and SS, then it gets complicated and full of fakes.
But every single time they elicit an average of 20 replies over 2 pages, and all saying the same thing.....It must be a helmet collector thing, how droll yet utterly pointless.
