    Helmet recently bought from USA. Nice example for good price. Original late type SSch-36 with just german repaint and decal, other like chistrap, liner and underneath- original khaki paint with thin star and hammer and sickle at the front of steel helmet, is still present. At my point extremely rare item in that combination

    The outline of the star is easy to see, but I think the other details might only show in hand given the decal covering it.
