The helmet is a Czechoslovakian Vz 32, From what i can make out it looks like a bullet hole, if the helmet was being worn it wold have been a fatal shot.
on the inner side is much of something that looks like blood, interesting is who was wearing it,it can be czech or german soldier?
thank you for answer
thank You

The unlucky person who was wearing this when it was damaged could be either German or Czech. Its not easy to see on your photos but the colour might be a clue. These were re-issued to Luftschutz and Volkssturm personnel in the final battles and so this might be such a helmet?
How many Helmets are in collections where the Hole in it probably killed the German wearing it .... Maybe a Russian Sniper, or American Gi .... We can only imagine these things as our treasures can’t speak.
Or was that bullet hole done by this old chap!!
Punching holes in helmets was only done after ww1. Not after ww2. Most in ww2 had the leather removed to be unusable. Besides the holes in these helmets would be square since a pick axe is square and not round.
