Strange Camo

You've only had it posted for about 4-5 hours. Give it some time for the helmet guys to comment. Can you post some better pics in natural light, and of the entire helmet inside and out? It would help a bunch. Thanks!

From what I can see from the photos provided, it looks like a green overpaint that has partially come off rather than a deliberate attempt at a mottled finish.

I agree with Dan, it doesn't look like camo to me, just wear on the paint, still looks like a nice lid though.

Hi Kylesbullets, sorry if I sounded too negative before, it is just I have a few helmets that "look" to be a mix of green and brown where I believe it is really a combination of rust working it's way to the surface ( the brown ) and wear of a repaint ( green ) ending up in a mottled appearance reminiscent of what we understand to be camouflage.

You haven't said if it is yours or one you want to buy .... if it's yours, I say a nice lid! - and if it's one you WANT to buy, as long as it isn't being sold as a cammo and the price is what you can afford ( and of course the inside is good ) then I say it's a worthy paint finish to add to any collection!

Oh cool! I always like the film Dr Suess made, it looks like an image of the Siegfried Line to me.

I wish I had it. I was just trying to figure out what kind of paint it was...... It looks very similar to a camo. So this is what it is- A original black helmet what the green over it and the green is wearing off with some rust showing.....
