Try a good trusted dealer, most of the time you'll waste looking on ebay but just look around on here and find some good dealers.

I just received this e-mail from the person selling. Kind of hard to believe.
"Sorry to say it was just sold I had two people in a bid war it was sold for $ 2,000
I had to stop it I had the solders name that wore it and I had it trace back it was in
two battles but sorry it was sold"
William
Bless their poor souls, that guy seen them coming a mile away!
A bidding war between two idiots. That happens a lot. I cant feel sorry.
Definitely a Norway reissue that was doctored up to bring a high price. I am sure it was in a few battles, the biggest battle would be stripping all that paint and fake decal off to bring it to its original state!!
I received another e-mail from the seller:
"Good for you but I did not tell I do have the paper work and everything about the helmet it is 100% all real "
Thanks,
William
paperwork and everything!!! oh its gotta be real then! lol

A "pimped up" piece of junk that is worthless and sold by a lying thief! What an A1 turd this fellow sounds like. I am glad you asked questions before wasting your hard earned cash! Could have been a nice Norwegian helmet before this idiot trashed it! Leon.
What a complete POS.
I would like to say that I doubt there aren't 2 people ignorant enough to bid that amount of $, but I know that isn't true.
Brad.
With all due respect your wasting your time hoping you find a gem. Use your time instead to study the hobby and then you will know when you have a gem.
Knowledge is power but it takes time.
