Quick update: I made an offer of $300 this morning which the seller declined. Is there an easily accessible method to photograph the pins that I could pass along to him? If I can get the okay on it being an original liner, I'd feel more comfortable raising my offer.
There was another discussion about an Liner being original recently in this post My New M40 SS helmet, there should be tipps on how to look at the split pins in there somewhere!
Edit: It should be on Page 2 and 3.
A couple more observations .....I see no size stamp on the liner - there should be a number in a circle or square if this is the original.
Also, drawstring is wrong, too thin.
