Are you sure it's R531? According to GHW's lot number database, there are two other Q's with that lot number. One is a double decal Polizei, and the other is a single decal SS!

Paint does not look new. Could be an immediate post war repaint, but it's a good paint job with no streaks or runs, not sloppy, so it might be a wartime repaint. The liner looks good for this lid. So I guess I am on the fence but I don't see anything jumping out at me screaming, "No."

Great find. The paint strokes I would think would be some sort of texture to break up the surface shine. Liner looks good, but I am not 100% on the name. I'm always a little leery if it looks like ball point pen...

I can assure you it isn't done with a ballpoint pen, I think I have to take a better picture of the name. Any ideas on the ekm? Haven't got a real reply in the EKM section.
