Transitional helmet single decal opinions please

Great, thanks for the next pics. Inside looks fine, nice M18 helmet with its lugs and the liner is fine. Still not a good, straight on shot of the decal though. It looks ok to me from the angle but wait for a decal expert to answer. Helmet itself looks fine

The only shots i have im afraid will try and get a nice straight shot of the decal to me this is the only thing that bothers me then again the way the rust is in places on the inside brim or am i just being too paranoid? Then again i look at it and think the helmet looks genuine im nearly convinced just like a more or less definate answer opinion.

To my eye the decal the looks repro, from his angle it doesn't seem "bedded" into the texture of the paint...seems to "thick" and one dimensional.....

nice helmet i like the clear decal but it seems indeed it has been put on it and thats not ok. the leather can always be bit broke, lot of soldiers drunk from their helmet

Hey guys, this is not a transitional helmet. This is an Austrian helmet shell with an M31 liner. The helmet has FOUR chinstrap holders. Two on the liner band, two attached to the helmet. In my opinion this helmet has been repainted during the 4th Reich, given a cheapy original M31 liner and a repro decal, and then has been artificially aged. The lugs have been cut down or removed. They don't get more messed with then this poor little helmet...shame shame
